A Gabs Going-Away
A weekend of going away parties from Irish Bars to Dance Halls to Jazz Clubs to Malls (It is Southern Africa...) to Bush Braais, well-covered on the pictures page.
I leave tomorrow for Francistown and will be in Zimbabwe on Thursday. Internet access may be intermittent, but I'm hoping for the best.
A link: To an article on the PSI event I helped organize here. This was as close as we got to negative press - the 'stolen condoms' thing was just a mention in my bosses opening remarks. This journalist decided it was worth a headline, which was a little ridiculous, but I respect her attempt to produce a different angle on the event. In fact, I got to tell her just that as she happened to be at my going-away party and is one of Kele's friends. She basically dodged me when I asked her about it.
