Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu – The Guillotine Choke

Brazilian jiu-jitsu is a sacred martial art that has been studied and practiced for many decades now. It revolutionized martial arts as we know it today due to the fact that it enabled a much smaller man to incapacitate and defeat a larger opponent, a feat though to be nearly impossible by conventional standards at the time of the styles creation. Using leverage and the joints in the body against each other, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, better known as BJJ, when utilized properly, can allow a small man to take down and defend himself against much stronger people, thus becoming a worldwide sensation upon discovery.

One of the most famous chokes is the guillotine choke, aptly named as it causes severe pressure on the neck of the assailant/opponent (although it shouldn’t decapitate the opponent if applied correctly). The choke itself can be utilized in 2 separate ways, both rendering the opponent unconscious if applied for long enough periods of time. One of the methods is a tracheal choke, compressing the trachea and preventing oxygen flow to the lungs, and the other blocks blood flow to the brain, both resulting in an unconscious opponent.

Secrets of Betfair Betting Bots

Betfair bots have been around for a number of years now. Let me tell you straight away they are not a license to print money and still require some understanding of Betfair and betting. They do open up a number of new ways to make money and by using Betfair bots sensibly it is possible to make consistent profits.

Betfair bots are basically pieces of software which interact with Betfair. They can for example place bets on your behalf when set up to do so when certain conditions are met. For example, we may want to place a bet on a certain horse to win but only if certain criteria are met. If we can’t be at a computer screen all day we can program the bot to place a bet for us.

Betting bots can also react far more quickly than humans and can make lightening fast decisions and actions. They can alert us to changes in the betting markets and either allow us to place bets accordingly or even do it for us.

How to Determine Your Fantasy Football Auction Day Strategy

I’ve come up with a few theories regarding auction strategies that I think might make sense. In general, it’s obviously a good thing to have a plan(s) going into an auction; are you going to go Studs & Duds or a more balanced approach?

You want to have a plan laid out of certain guys you like and dislike and try to generally stick to your plan. I’m not suggesting that you’re so rigid you don’t make adjustments on the fly and react to the market, but a general outline of how you want your auction to go is huge. If you have the time, it is probably wise to have some sort of plan for both strategies so that if you know you need to go Studs & Duds or Balanced, you can be flexible. I think early on in an auction you can get a feel for how it is going to flow; are people holding their cash or splurging? Normally I would say, “Do the opposite of what you think people are doing”. If people are coming in hot, blowing all their cash on the top tier guys, there are going to be good deals to be had later in the auction and you might be able to clean up if there are guys that you like still left. On the other hand, and this is the trickier one because you might not realize it until too late, if people are holding their money, you should be spending your money on the big name players and let people who hold their cash and get into bidding wars on 3rd and 4th tier players because they have the money to do so.

Kids Dance Studios and Possible Injuries

The human body is vulnerable to all kinds of injuries. There are more than 600 muscles in your body waiting to be strained. At least 206 bones are waiting to be broken. And then there are tendons and ligaments waiting to be pulled or torn. Considering all that, it’s no surprise that dancers are prone to all types of injuries.

Children that take lessons at kids dance studios have to guard against injuries. A good instructor will do whatever it takes to protect children from injury. However, accidents do happen. There are two injuries that young dancers experience quite often.

Ankle Sprains

A sprained ankle is a common mishap. In fact, it’s probably the most common mishap that dancers face. An ankle that has been sprained in the past is more likely to be sprained again. It’s easy to get an ankle injury. Performing a step wrong or landing incorrectly after a leap are common invitations to ankle damage.

A child may not realize their ankle is injured when it first occurs. But pain when walking is the first sign. There may also be swelling. In severe cases, the child might not be able to put any weight on the ankle at all.

Issues Concerning Speed Boat Ownership

Speed boat ownership is a financial investment. And the cost of a craft is one thing you should greatly consider. For fortunate personal, this might not be a problem. But not everybody is so lucky or blessed. Price is perhaps the principle issue of most people who want to pay for a craft. The cost of one unit can spin the head of someone wanting to have a boat. And since speed boats are frequently compared with sports car because of its price (and functioning), you ought to carefully analyse if owning a boat is genuinely for you.

Can you afford it?
The price of the actual boat is one thing, the costs that will follow thereafter is another. After acquiring a boat, individuals will have to worry about the other cost of ownership including fuel, insurance, repairs, transportation, taxes and maintenance. While you can say that you are able to pay the cost of the boat, take note that the large chunk of expenses happens during the occasion of ownership.
